Kartal Sports Hall
In 2024, the Application of shoring systems with prestressed anchors and soil nails was carried out on two different fronts, respectively, to ensure deep excavation safety and slope stability at the Eczacıbaşı Kartal Sports Hall. Before starting the Application, a soil slip occurred on the road front, and a safe foundation excavation was ensured for this region by densifying with a hybrid system containing both prestressed anchors and soil nails. During the Application process, the compliance of the system with design criteria, necessary strength, and safety conditions was reported via anchor acceptance tests and soil nail pull-out tests.
